We present a new update of the PQ-FMEA+ software.
What’s new in version 2.3.2?
In update 2.3.2, the statistics have been extended, for example, a AP risk summary. The software now includes a bar chart showing the number of specific action priorities – high, medium and low. Below the chart, there is a table in which we have a detailed list of all the failure cause included in the summary along with detailed assessments, so that we can easily find the data we are interested in already on the sheet.
The function is opened from the “Statistics” -> “AP risk chart” toolbar.
Another statistic referring to the new AIAG & VDA standard is the AP risk matrix.
On the matrix, we have a list of the number of all ratings of the action priority level (high, medium, low) and a specific rating: Severity, Occurance and Detection.
The function is opened from the “Statistics” -> “AP Risk Matrix” toolbar.
In the “Failure Effect” and “Curent Detection Control” cells, we can immediately assign Severity and Detection ratings. The values specified in the above-mentioned cells will automatically be loaded into the FMEA sheet.
Places to complete the grades are in:
- the “Failure Effect” cell on the red structure and in the sheet.
- in the cells ” Curent Detection Control in the sheet.
We can turn on the automatic loading of the entered ratings in the “Preferences” window, which we open from the “Settings” -> “Preferences” toolbar.
In the control plan, we can now choose how to sort the characteristics alphabetically or according to the order of „Process Step Function” and „Work Element function” cells in FMEA.
Select the sorting method from the toolbar „Settings” -> “Preferences” -> “CP settings”.
Until now, after deleting a cell with characteristics that have already been described in the control plan, the elements in the row were marked in red, and to delete it, you had to do it one by one. Now you can delete the entire row with one button.
To do this, right-click and select “Delete outdated record”.
After changing the column widths in sheets and saving the file, restarting PQ-FMEA+, the columns will not revert to the default widths.
All information about the updates so far can be found on our page About the program – software update.
